The same 1-second formula as our best-selling Mega Hold, with a clear finish. Clear Mega Hold is made for coloured, brown, and light lash sets where a black base would show.
Why artists choose it

- 1-second dry time keeps pace with classic, volume, and premade fans
- High viscosity for controlled pickup and a secure base
- Non-wicking, so volume fans stay fluffy and the lash line stays clean
- No fume, ideal for sensitive clients
- Latex-free, formaldehyde-free, vegan and cruelty-free

How to apply
- Cover the nozzle with a lint-free wipe and shake for 30–60 seconds.
- Place a fresh drop on your jade stone or glue ring.
- Dip just the base of the lash or fan, about 1–2 mm.
- Attach to an isolated natural lash, leaving a small gap from the skin.
- Wipe the nozzle clean and cap tightly after each use.
Common mistakes
- Using an old drop. Replace it as soon as it starts to skin over or string.
- Too much glue. Clear glue is harder to see, so it’s easy to overload the base. Keep the dip small.
- A room over 25°C or very dry air. Both change how fast it cures.
Storage and care
- Unopened: keep in the fridge, never the freezer.
- Opened: keep at room temperature, no warmer than 23°C, in an airtight container away from light. Never return it to the fridge.
- Replace 30 days after opening, or sooner if it turns stringy. Shelf life once opened varies with climate and handling.
FAQ
Clear or black?
Use Clear Mega Hold for coloured, brown, or light lashes. For classic black sets, regular Mega Hold gives a darker lash line.
Why are my lashes popping off?
Usually it’s an old glue drop, the room is too hot or too dry, or the client’s natural lashes weren’t cleansed well. Retention also depends on aftercare, so recommend lash shampoo.
Why is my glue going stringy?
It’s past its prime. Heat, light, and moisture age it faster, so replace it.
Is it okay for sensitive clients?
No fume helps, but any cyanoacrylate adhesive can cause a reaction. Patch test 24–48 hours before a first full set.
Warning: bonds skin instantly. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and skin. Keep away from children. Make sure the eye is protected and immobilized during application. Eyelid bonding: consult a physician. Skin bonding: soak and ease apart gently.
Which adhesive is right for you?
All four are latex-free, formaldehyde-free and priced at $54.99. The difference is cure speed — match it to how fast you place.
| Adhesive | Cure time | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Extra Hold | 1–2 sec | Newer artists, slower mapping, high-humidity rooms |
| Mega Hold | 1 sec | Most artists — our best-seller and the safe default |
| Clear Mega Hold (you’re viewing this) | 1 sec | Same formula as Mega Hold, clear finish for coloured or light sets |
| Ultra Hold | 0.5–1 sec | Experienced pros working at speed |
Not sure? Faster cure means less time per fan, but less room to reposition. If you are still building speed, a slower cure is more forgiving. Check each adhesive’s specifications for its ideal humidity and temperature.
