Curl Five™ Classic Set Lotion #2
The second step in the Curl Five™ Classic Lash Lift System, designed to lock in and stabilize the curl created in Step 1.
Set Lotion #2 is applied to the same area of the lash as Step 1 — from approximately 1–2 mm above the base up to the mid-shaft, stopping before the tips. This secures the newly formed curl evenly along the reshaped section of the lash, fixing the shape and creating a long-lasting, consistent lift.
Do not apply to the lash tips. The tips are the oldest and most porous part of the lash and are the first to split or frizz when over-processed. Neither Lift Lotion #1 nor Set Lotion #2 should contact the lash tips, the lash bulb, or the waterline.
Before applying Set Lotion #2, gently and thoroughly remove all residue of Curl Five™ Classic Lift Lotion #1 from the lashes using a clean, damp applicator. Ensure the lashes are fully clean and free from Step 1 product before proceeding.
Once clean, apply Set Lotion #2 evenly over the same lash area where Step 1 was applied, ensuring full and even coverage to properly lock in the curl.

Processing Time
| Lash type | Lift Lotion #1 | Set Lotion #2 |
|---|---|---|
| Fine, sparse, or previously lifted | 8 min | 8 min |
| Medium — most clients | 9–10 min | 9–10 min |
| Coarse, resistant, or virgin | 11–12 min | 11–12 min |
Reading the lash
Diameter alone is not a reliable guide. A fine lash can be stiff and resistant, and a thick lash can be soft and porous. Porosity and chemical history matter as much as thickness.
Clients who have had a lift or tint within the last 8 weeks, or who use a conditioning lash serum, should start at the lower end of the range regardless of lash thickness.
Do not exceed the recommended processing time. Over-processing may reduce lash integrity and affect the softness and longevity of the finished lift.
Tint Recommendation
If performing a lash tint as part of the service, apply the tint after Set Lotion #2 has been fully removed and the lashes have been gently cleansed and dried.
This ensures the curl is fully stabilised before tinting and allows for even, consistent colour uptake without interfering with the lifting process.
Client Aftercare
- Keep lashes dry for a minimum of 4 hours after the treatment
- Ideally wait 24 hours before washing the face, as with a salon lash lift
- Avoid mascara, oil-based makeup removers, and eyelash curlers following the service
How Long Results Last
Results typically last 6–8 weeks. Individual retention varies with lash texture and growth cycle, ranging from around 3–4 weeks up to 2 months. Coarser lashes tend to hold the lift longer.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store below 21°C in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the cap closed tightly between clients.
Once opened, use within 3–5 months. Proper storage protects the strength of the formula; product exposed to heat or light degrades faster, which shows up as weak or inconsistent lifts even when your timing is correct.
