A complete professional system for both lash lifting and brow lamination, built on the original Curl Five™ Classic formula. Each starter kit contains enough product for approximately 10–20 clients.

The Curl Five™ system is designed for efficient, predictable processing and beautiful, even results — lifting lashes from the base and redirecting brow hair into a uniform, brushed-up shape.

Kit Contents

  1. Lift Lotion #1 — full-size 10 mL pump
  2. Set Lotion #2 — full-size 10 mL pump
  3. Collagen #3 nourishing lotion — full-size 10 mL pump
  4. Curl Five™ Lash Lift Balm
  5. Silicone shields (5 mixed sizes)
  6. Magnetic storage case
  7. Gel Cleanser concentrate (add water)
  8. Bonus: Lash Bloom™ Serum

Patch test required

Perform a patch test 48–72 hours before every new client’s first service. Apply a small amount of Lift Lotion #1 behind the ear or inside the elbow and leave undisturbed. Thioglycolate can cause allergic contact dermatitis in a small percentage of the population. A clear patch test does not fully eliminate the possibility of a reaction during service — monitor the client throughout.

Lash Lift — Directions

  1. Cleanse lashes thoroughly of all makeup, oil, and residue. Any remaining film acts as a barrier and will affect the result.
  2. Apply silicone shields to the upper eyelid using water-based lash lift adhesive.
  3. Comb lashes evenly onto the shield, separating carefully to avoid overlap.
  4. Apply Lift Lotion #1 from approximately 1–2 mm above the base up to the mid-shaft. Do not apply past halfway or onto the tips — the tips are weakest and over-process easily.
  5. Set the timer per the table below. Check the lash before the timer ends; if the curl has formed, proceed.
  6. Remove Lift Lotion #1 completely with a clean, damp applicator. Confirm no residue remains.
  7. Apply Set Lotion #2 to the same area, and process for the same time as Step 1.
  8. Remove thoroughly with a clean, lint-free applicator.
  9. Apply Collagen #3 to clean and condition the natural lash.
  10. (Optional) Apply tint after Step 2 is removed and lashes are cleansed and dried. Tint processing time is approximately 5 minutes.
  11. Remove shields and clean the area with a slightly damp cotton round.

Brow Lamination — Directions

Brow lamination uses the same solutions but a different technique and shorter timing. Silicone shields and adhesive are not used.

  1. Cleanse the brows thoroughly and pat dry.
  2. Apply Lift Lotion #1 to the base and mid-section of the brow hair with a microbrush. Avoid fine tips if they appear compromised or previously processed. Keep product off the skin as much as possible.
  3. Brush the hair into the desired upward shape, then cover with brow wrap or cling film to hold humidity and keep the product from drying out.
  4. Process per the table below, then remove completely with a clean, damp applicator.
  5. Apply Set Lotion #2 in the same way, comb into shape, and process for the same duration.
  6. Remove thoroughly, then apply Collagen #3 to condition and finish.

Adjusting your timing

  • Recently tinted: brows or lashes tinted within the last 14 days have partially open cuticles — reduce time regardless of texture.
  • Previously lifted or laminated: within 8 weeks, or clients using a conditioning serum — start at the low end.
  • Room temperature: a warm room speeds the reaction noticeably; a cold room slows it. Adjust by up to a minute either way.
  • Texture is not just diameter: a fine hair can be stiff and resistant, a thick hair soft and porous. Porosity matters as much as thickness.

Do not exceed the recommended processing time. Over-processing can split or frizz the hair and reduce softness and longevity. On brows, prolonged skin contact may also cause redness or irritation. Remove product immediately if the client reports stinging or burning.

Client Aftercare

  • Keep the treated area dry for a minimum of 4 hours after the service
  • Ideally wait 24 hours before washing the face
  • Avoid mascara, oil-based makeup removers, and eyelash curlers following the service
  • After the initial settling period, results are water-resistant — clients can shower and swim normally

How Long Results Last

Results typically last 6–8 weeks, growing out naturally with the hair cycle. Individual retention varies with texture and growth rate, ranging from around 3–4 weeks up to 2 months. Coarser hair tends to hold longer. Rebook every 6 weeks for best results.

Storage & Shelf Life

Store below 21°C in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep pumps closed tightly between clients.

Once opened, use within 3–5 months. Proper storage protects the strength of the formula; product exposed to heat or light degrades faster, which shows up as weak or inconsistent results even when your timing is correct.

Troubleshooting

  • Weak or dropped lift: most often shield placement or solution placement. Position the shield as close to the lash line as possible and work the lotion close to the base.
  • Uneven result: usually inconsistent solution coverage or lashes overlapping on the shield. Separate carefully before applying.
  • Product drying out mid-process: use brow wrap or cling film to hold humidity and keep hair from shifting.
  • Poor adhesion: check that the adhesive is fresh and that lashes were fully cleansed. Residual oil or makeup prevents both adhesion and product penetration.
  • Consistently weak results across clients: check the age and storage of your open pumps before adjusting technique.
  • Compromised hair: damaged, brittle, or recently chemically treated hair may not respond predictably. Reduce time or reschedule.
